With all the often less than flattering images of black women being put out by the entertainment media nowadays, we were very intrigued by the idea of serving our visitors up something different and possibly entirely unexpected, timely and overdue tribute to the diverse collective beauty of women of African decent. We hope you are as inspired by these images as we are.

Everyone has a right to his or her opinion, so let’s agree to disagree. Be polite in your interactions with other commentors. It all boils down to what Aretha used to refer to as R.E.S.P.E.C.T……..for the model, the photographer and your fellow visitors.
Keep It Clean
Afrosugar is not an adult site or a site where anything goes. The posting of suggestive or lewd comments, or use of otherwise inappropriate language, is not welcomed here. Censorship? Nope. There are plenty of other places on internet where one can express oneself in that way. Just not here.
Hold the Spam
People generally know spam when they see it, so think twice about posting content that is not germane to the topic of this site. If you are here to sell or promote products, services or just yourself, don’t bother. What you have to say will most likely never see the light of day.
